  This pharmacy is pretty special and amazing in my opinion. Since day one over a year ago when we started using them as they were the local area pharmacy, they have been attentive, friendly, and willing to work with us on some difficult medication issues. Recently, they went way above and beyond the call of duty, so to speak, and helped a family member in a very difficult situation. The pharmacist and others working there really didn't have to go that extra mile, but they did and did so in a caring and compassionate manner. Honestly, I was rather stunned because I have not seen that kind of compassion in this field for a long time. It's refreshing! If you want to go somewhere that sees you as a person and not a RX number. a pharmacy where they call you by name and help you work out any medication issues , I would suggest Capitol Heights Pharmacy! Thank you guys again for caring and all your help along with being a great example for other pharmacies to follow!

  Walked in with my daughter to purchase wine for my Mother. The gentleman at the counter asked for both of our id's. I told him, "She is my daughter". He rudely told me "Calm down. She touched a bottle". She did not touch any of the bottles I was purchasing. She pointed out a bottle with a sugar skull on it. Saying it was "cool". I am 41 years old. I am certainly allowed to purchase liquor. This was our second bad experience with the same gentleman. It really felt like he had a problem with the way we look. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this experience. I will be sure to spend my money in establishments that embrace actual customer service. To all people.
