  I commissioned David to paint a portrait of my wife's favorite cat for Christmas. She was thrilled to see her kitty in David's beautiful painting which we put up in our dining room for everyone to see. Photos are great but his paintings add a special touch which a photo can't deliver. If you love your pets you need to get one of his paintings!

  My wife and I met David Kennett about six years ago when he was painting in the park. We were so taken by the way he captured the dog on canvas. Even the dog's personality comes through in his paintings. David painted our two Bernese Mountain dogs and our Westie. He has painted our dog's head shot, with kind of a "pop art" look and painted life-sized pieces of our dogs as well. Previously, we had some paintings done of our dogs by an artist in Maui, but they don't compare to David's fabulous work. Recently, David traveled to Vail and painted our horse, as well as several other horses in the barn. He really captured our horse beautifully and is a pleasure to work with, sending us progress pictures to ensure we were pleased with the eyes and color. I can't say enough about his work and highly recommend him to anyone.
